After 9 years enjoying the awesomeness of the Peace region's M-Powered Kids we get to experience all the M-Powerment that Vancouver Island has to offer. GENERATION POUND® is a youth-oriented program that fuses movement and music to improve focus, coordination, physical fitness and teamwork skills. By combining exercise and interactive Activities, kids will learn new ways to explore movement, embrace their creativity and ROCK OUT—ultimately building strength, confidence and self-awareness.
Generation POUND® was created not just as a workout geared towards kids, but a MOVEMENT that aims to change the concept of health and fitness for today’s youth. Get ready to make fitness about self-expression, empowerment, self-love and FUN! How? By introducing alternative ways to, MOVE, ROCK, PLAY and MAKE NOISE!

Girl Be YOU is an empowerment program targeting female youth ages 8-17. It has proven to make an impact and inspire confidence to help girls be their most authentic selves.
Girls develop skills to be kinder to themselves and others.
The fitness component is like no other. It is an upbeat class where girl gain strength both physically and mentally and they'll walk away standing taller and feeling more confident.
Girl be YOU runs as a 5-6 week program where girls take part in fun, dance-type fitness, also incorporating bursts aerobic interval training. This fitness class is paired with empowering activities that encourage confidence by discovering what makes them unique. The themes are around body image, self confidence, dreams and goal setting. The fitness component helps the girls feel stronger and is great conditioning for any sport, dance or other activity. The empowerment activities help build that inner strength and positive self image that is so important for all of us.

What is Yoga for Kids and how is it different from an adult yoga class?
In our child-centered yoga classes we balance spontaneity and structure through cooperative games that encourage movement, coordination, flexibility, strength, imagination and creativity all in a supportive and nurturing atmosphere.
In each class:
children connect with themselves and each other during new and familiar poses, breathing techniques, music, movement and yoga games; finishing each practice with a guided Savasana.
Yoga helps children to develop focus and increase inner strength and confidence; an increase in spatial awareness, inner focus, calmness and mindfulness.
